With only five days until the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 is announced, Courtney Act, a top three contestant for the title of ‘America’s Next Drag Superstar’, has released a catchy new song entitled ‘Mean Gays’. The song, which Act sang during her comedy routine for this season’s ‘Drag Queens of Comedy’ challenge, was originally written in 2011 and submitted for the West Hollywood Original Song Contest in 2012.

The lyrics of ‘Mean Gays’ warn listeners to “think twice” before they take on one of the mean gays in West Hollywood (Weho) because they might “chew you up and spit you out.”

Act, who was a semi-finalist on Australian Idol in 2003, is no stranger to releasing singles. Her first single, ‘Rub Me Wrong’ was released in 2004 and peaked at #29 on the ARIA Singles Chart, the main Australian music sales chart.

We’re totally in love with this new song! The lyrics are catchy and Act sounds amazing on the track. Plus, there’s even cameo appearances from Adore Delano and Bianca Del Rio! Download ‘Mean Gay’s on iTunes and watch the music video below!
