Craigery Morgan Plays An Abercrombie & Fitch Store Sales Clerk Clone

Having achieved Internet fame by lip-synching Saturday Night Live skits, Craigery Morgan made his small screen acting debut on last night’s $h*! My Dad Says, the show from gay Will & Grace producer Max Mutchnick. Craigery helped William Shatner’s Ed find a cool pair of pants. The Comedy ensues!

i wonder if he’s ever actually taken any classes?

He slept with america. He is just like that other guy…that canadian who gives advice on a video weblog. They both wear no shirts during it because we eat it up.

Wow, so… Americans find this show amusing? I guess Shatner’s wig made me laugh.

I am so proud of him for getting paid work. However this isn’t exactly a stellar performance. Any idea where we can see him perform a real, less stereotypical role?

He did fine. It was a one/two liner and he was charming and cute. It is a parody of A and F so the stereotyping is part of the humor and the gay homeless man joke was funny to me. ” Distressed” clothes look great on a cute, fit guy but would look pitiful on Shatner or anybody else over 45..

Why is everyone being so harsh?

For the limited screen time, he did a decent job.
Blame the writers if his character did explode off the screen for you!

Why are some people so critical of Craigery’s appearence on
“$h*! My Dad Says?” It was his TV debut. I thought he did just fine. How can a person “explode” on screen when they have a couple of lines and are on camera for a few minutes?

I’ve been following Craigery since he exploded on YouTube. He is very funny, has a great delivery and has talent. He’s not just a pretty face, but I sure as hell like looking at him. He’s cute, nice body and so funny!

Craigery you did a fine job and I hope mnay good things come your way. Now take off your shirt and let me see that sweet body of yours and winning smile!

Shatner’s acting here is pretty bad. Watch his eyes. I don’t think that bodes well for the show. Craigery will do great on a show where he can truly show his talent.

Let’s face it. He sucked. The show sucked. A & F is for teenagers. Y’all need to get a life.

This is what happens when you cast someone based on looks.

Painful to watch. Not remotely funny. As for Craigery, who delivered his lines OK, he needs to watch the calories.

At least he got a few hundred bucks for this instead of doing it for free.

@justiceontherocks: Considering one of the themes here was sexual objectification, I think you just hit a home run.

@A Ron: I can’t get over the negative remarks over a two minute appearence. You’re not on TV or a critic for TV Guide. Really, maybe you should get a life.

How much do you guys expect Craigery to be able to do with a few lame guest lines on a sucky show? He did the best he could. He’s a sweet guy.

I don’t get all the hate. He did fine and he certainly wasn’t any worse than anybody else in the scene.

I know the theme is to bash the guy, but I’m sorry, I thought he did a fine job with extremely lame lines. As for the show itself, I don’t get why it’s still on. I watched the pilot online because a friend of mine loves the show, and I don’t remember laughing once.

I’m still trying to get over the fact that Shatner is just a month or two short of eighty years old. He looks fantastic for his age. Of course, an expensive toupee probably helps.

    • divkid

      yes, a *little* chunky.
but it’s still the good kind of chunky.
but it’s only to be expected.

to rise so far so quickly requires a diet rich in man-mayonnaise
      of the casting agent variety!

      remember bb:

@James L. Greenlee: Yes. I agree. He has great genes and looks really good. Healthy. Hearty. Robust.

@Adonis-of-Fire: That was the 1st thing I thought too. Comparing him in the clip to his online photos (where he looks cut and hot). He did look chunky, esp. next to the ab guy in the clip.

This is why I hate going to the Pines on Fire Island. I have to see all the effeminate haters who post here in person. You’re acting just like that bitchy queen Stephen Sondheim did to Elaine Stritch in the ‘Company’ documentary. She was fine on the first take and he was acting like a queen with a bug up his ass throughout the whole film. If you didn’t see it rent it from Netflix and you’ll see what I mean. He was embarrassing.

I thought the $80 underwear line was funny. The kid was fine. Like anything else, if you don’t like the show be a big boy and change the channel.

      Jan 30, 2011 at 4:20 pm · @ReplyReply to this comment ·
    • Joe

I have never thought he had talent. His youtube videos where he’s doing his voice over work suck. Close your eyes…they’re ALL the same character. I say this, as someone who has not only been trained in VO since I was 16, but I was also a VO director in two different Talent Agencies over the years. I know good VO talent, and this kid…isn’t.

A good actor can deliver even the crappiest lines, no matter how few, in a believable way and not in a way that makes you cringe. I thought his performance was painful and sad. I hope this is the first and last time I see him on TV.

He doesn’t look bad, I’d still hit it
Just saying he looks a bit chunky compared to the abs guy and compared to his online pics where he looks so fuckable.
