D.C. Gay Men’s Chorus found the perfect way to deal with antigay street preachers

Kill them with kindness and a buttery tenor.

This weekend, the D.C. Gay Men’s Chorus performed in Knoxville, Tennessee as part of Knox Pride.

After the show, when they were all piling back into their bus, they noticed a band of antigay street preachers, holding signage that read “Homo Sex is sin” and shouting homophobic slurs.

According to The Washingtonian, there were about eight protestors in all. Theo Kano, artistic director of the chorus, told the bus driver to stop and then foiled the antigay preachers in the best way possible. (No, they didn’t use pies.)
