Kill them with kindness and a buttery tenor.
This weekend, the D.C. Gay Men’s Chorus performed in Knoxville, Tennessee as part of Knox Pride.

After the show, when they were all piling back into their bus, they noticed a band of antigay street preachers, holding signage that read “Homo Sex is sin” and shouting homophobic slurs.
According to The Washingtonian, there were about eight protestors in all. Theo Kano, artistic director of the chorus, told the bus driver to stop and then foiled the antigay preachers in the best way possible. (No, they didn’t use pies.)

I absolutely loved every minute of this. Drowning them out with harmony and telling them to take their “Christian love” and shove it. It is great that we live in a society where we can openly challenge this religious nonsense openly without fear.

Awesome. This is the perfect way to counter hateful troglodytes.

This is beautiful but it’s better to just ignore the lowlifes and not give them the attention they desperately seek.
