Screen shot 2013-04-23 at 4.26.34 PMGlee heartthrob Darren Criss announced his first 16-city tour to kick-off in San Francisco this summer, and suddenly, all the moments he spent serenading wealthy gay people at private events make sense. Get your tickets quick—there’s already a thousand of soccer moms ahead of you!

Criss announced the “Listen Up…” tour on Twitter this morning, inviting fans to “get tickets to the party early!”

Don’t count on actually knowing any of the songs, though. According to the video below, the tour is practically a test drive to see which of his original songs will make it to the album, which is scheduled to release later this year.

1.) Put lots of pop culture references into songs. Because they are so timeless.

2.) Use as many offensive words as possible, but only when the group features on a song.

3.) Talk about not being a product of your genre incessantly.

4.) Try not to spit on the memory of holocaust victims.

“A great kid”? He plays a kid on TV. In real life, he’s 26… not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  • Dionte
