One election result we managed to miss until now: David King, Wisconsin’s Republican nominee for secretary of state, who was accused by a lesbian woman of a rape that left her pregnant, lost his battle to unseat Secretary of State Doug La Follette from the post the incumbent has held for 30 years. So begs the question: Did that little sexual assault allegation have anything to do with it?
