CATTY ELEPHANTS

Dick Santorum Is Having None Of Rick Perry’s Gay Marriage Support

GOP poop-lover Dick Santorum has gotten all sassy up in Texas Governor Rick Perry‘s crawl because of Perry’s lukewarm support of New York’s passage of marriage equality. Perry said, “Our friends in New York six weeks ago passed a statute that said marriage can be between two people of the same sex. And you know what? That’s New York, and that’s their business, and that’s fine with me. That is their call. If you believe in the 10th Amendment, stay out of their business.” But Santorum, had to chime in by tweeting, “So Gov Perry, if a state wanted to allow polygamy or if they chose to deny heterosexuals the right to marry, would that be OK too?”

Oh, Rick… leave Perry alone. Perry hangs out with anti-gay hate groups—isn’t that enough? Besides, all the catty tweets in the world aren’t gonna change your last place finish in the GOP Presidential race… nor will they help your Google problem.

You boys should settle this the old fashioned way—Roman-Greco wrestling.

    I confess that I find it odd the Mr. Frothy Mix just cannot seen to understand that NOBODY LIKES HIM OR WANTS HIS AS DOG CATCHER, LET ALONE PRESIDENT! As for Greco- Roman Wrestling, it might be amusing to see the two ladies get down and dirty and sweaty.

    Now that racism and sexism are illegal, the people that have to run on fear and bigotry need to attack gays and illegals to try to keep people from figuring out that they have absolutly no idea about fixing the economy.

  • BenFrankly

    Santorum is a worthless closest fag. He needs to get over himself and go for what he really wants instead of big black ice cream cones. This self deluding frothy mix schifo really needs to give it up and move to Ghana.

    And btw his tweets are inane and show that he doesn’t have the inteelectual capacity to be Prsident. President f the poop worshipers club – maybe.

    No. 4 · BenFrankly wrote, “Santorum is a worthless closest fag. He needs to get over himself and go for what he really wants instead of big black ice cream cones. ”

    Why should gays claim him? Haven’t they suffered enough?

    Just remember, this is the same ghoul who took his “woman on dog” wife’s miscarried dead fetus home and forced his other little children to hold it and sing hymns to it. …Sicko necromancer.

    According to: http://www.alan.com/2009/08/13/rick-santorum-took-dead-baby-home-to-meet-family/

    “For example, Santorum has six children. In 1996, he had son born prematurely who lived for only two hours. He and wife brought the child home and introduced the dead infant to the rest of their children as ‘your brother Gabriel’ and slept with the body overnight.

    Upon their son’s death, Rick and Karen Santorum opted not to bring his body to a funeral home. Instead, they bundled him in a blanket and drove him to Karen’s parents’ home in Pittsburgh. There, they spent several hours kissing and cuddling Gabriel with his three siblings, ages 6, 4 and 1 1/2. They took photos, sang lullabies in his ear and held a private Mass.”

    Uh, didn’t Jeffry Daumier do shit like that? Santorum’s spawn are going to grow up really twisted in the head. I predict a necrophiliac or two from that litter.

    As expected, behold the typical littany of hatred from the we’re-so-tolerant-of-everyone liberals.

    @Cam: Seriously? Republicans are attacking illegals and gays because they have no idea how to fix the economy? Too, too fucking funny. I suppose that’s what you guys have to tell yourselves to rationalize why Obama is the worst president in economics since Carter. There is something beside ideology: it’s called reality, and you guys should check into it.

  • christopher di spirito

    So let me get this straight? Rick “I’m a Prophet” Perry is more liberal on marriage equality than Barack Obama?

  • Daez

    @Politically Incorrect Thug: Do you enjoy rewriting history? Please tell me what Obama did that is so bad?

    The bailouts? Do you honestly forget that was Bush?

    The war effort? Bush again.

    The deficit? Bush again.

    Go on, tell me what is so bad about President Obama and the economy.

    @christopher di spirito: Obama has always seen gay marriage as a state’s rights issue which apparently is what Perry sees it as as well. The difference is Obama isn’t actively campaigning to keep gay marriage out of Texas.

    @Politically Incorrect Thug:

    No kidding. I have several gay friends who couldn’t care less about gay marriage right now. They just want a job.

  • Daez

    @Thom Freeheart: I hate to tell your friends this, but the government is not responsible for job creation. If they want a job and don’t have one they could try going back and getting more training to meet the jobs that are currently hiring, but its easier to sit there and collect unemployment.

    The voters of Pennsylvania already booted Santorum out of office and elected Bob Casey (D)Senator. How he thinks that his decisive defeat in Pennsylvania qualifies him to be the Republican nominee for President escapes me.

  • Dallas David

    Sounds like Rick Perry is thinking more about 2016 than 2012. If trends continue (I think they will) we may actually see mainstream Republicans support gay equality in 2016.

  • Daez

    @Dallas David: Full blown equality? Doubtful. States rights? Probably. They always use states rights as a way to side step the issue. Since Mitt Romney will be up for reelection in 2016 I don’t know if I agree. Probably 2020.

  • Thom Freeheart

    @Daez:

    Obama borrowed and spent $870 billion in stimulus saying that you are wrong about that.

    I’m so glad Queerty has become the hangout for Gopproud assholes. I guess y’all need a place to hang out in besides your weekly neo-nazi meetings at stormfront. I’m gonna stick to JoeMyGod from now on. I’ve had enough of your self-loathing fascist politics. You’ve turned Queerty into a shithole of site real quick.

  • Thom Freeheart

    @james_from_cambridge:

    I believe in accepting everyone and their point of view on all issues, and when people post something that I don’t agree with, I don’t insult them or the forum where it happens. Many gays complain about how Americans need to be open-minded, but I have found that gays are very closed-minded on non-gay issues like economics, foreign policy, etc., if they are not in line with liberal ideology on those matters.

    And by the way, I don’t vote Republican. I’m out and proud and I love myself. And I love you too.

  • Queer Supremacist

    Santorum is such a psychopath that even his constituents wanted him out. His political career is a Zombie.

    @Thom Freeheart: It gets worse. They and Christian fundamentalists are two sides of the same coin: they both want as much state control over as many things as possible. My support of gay equality sometimes makes me feel like FDR during WWII: allying with Stalin to beat Hitler. I don’t support the bailouts, raising the debt ceiling, or increasing government spending, or “progressive” taxation. And shouting “Bush did it too” assumes that I would support it just because Bush did it (three out of four)? I got news for you, I didn’t like it under Bush either. And say one bad thing about Islamic terrorists and suddenly you’re Hitler, though Hitler and Bin Laden are probably BFFs in Hell right now.

    @james_from_cambridge: Ya’ll don’t come back now, you hear?

    FTFA: “…up in Texas Governor Rick Perry’s crawl…”

    Eggcorn alert. The expression is “stuck in X’s craw.”

    It has to do with a blockage in a bird’s digestive system leading to prolonged misery.

  • greenmusic23f

    @Daez: Yes, because getting more training magically makes more jobs appear in the market. There are more people looking for jobs than there are jobs. That is a fact. And without a job, you don’t have the money for said job training. Please stop victim-blaming. Most people are trying their hardest.

    “I hate to tell your friends this, but the government is not responsible for job creation. If they want a job and don’t have one they could try going back and getting more training to meet the jobs that are currently hiring, but its easier to sit there and collect unemployment.”
