From extolling the “master race” to teaching a master class in fashion, it’s been quite a road to redemption for Christian Dior’s disgraced John Galliano.
The designer was dismissed by the top fashion house in 2011 after spewing a drunken pro-Hitler rant at a cafe in Paris. Now we learn there’s more than latent anti-Semitism to Galliano — the man also has academic aspirations.
The fashionista will teach an upcoming three-day workshop at Parsons The New School for Design. A statement released by Simon Collins, the school’s dean of fashion, reads: “We believe that over the past two years Galliano has demonstrated a serious intent to make amends for his past actions, and as part of this workshop.”
Students are encouraged to engage the designer in “a frank conversation” about the challenges of running a fashion house.
How about we take this to the next level?

We have a lot of questions for him.

What could that poisonous queen teach anyone? This is steeped in a PR company’s idea of what redemption should look like.
No. He’s a horrible person – avoid him like the plague.

WOW! I can’t imagine him teaching a class.., with that attitude and temper! Hell hath no fury like a queen with an ego. He’ll be on the news again soon.

If the getup he’s wearing is any guide, I can’t imagine he’d have anything to teach. Disign is at least partly about good taste, of which he shows none.

He’s a genius! And talent will always win…over mediocre sniping…
