All this time we were thinking The Gays would come up with a grand way to smear Prop 8-supporting Meg Whitman, who’s dipping into her eBay billions to become the next governor of California. And yet her Republican primary opponent Steve Poizner, the Silicon Valley vet, has done it for us. Cue up the porn!
As chief executive of eBay, Whitman cleaned up the auction site’s guns and forgery sales, but kept the porn going. This demonstrates she is a pornographer is wants to indoctrinate children into the sexting lifestyle!

So, guns and gay marriage = bad, while porn = still good enough for eBay? Maybe she was touched by Rekers/Jo-Vanni’s story, and she wants to give people the opportunity to save their souls through porn.

Oh please. Now, I don’t particularly like Whitman, but fraud is an obvious priority – they’d lose their customers if people were being defrauded.
As the “guns”, eBay is located in California, and according to http://crime.about.com/od/gunlawsbystate/p/gunlaws_ca.htm “All firearms sales including private and gun show sales, transfers or loans, must go through a California licensed firearms dealer. An application for sale or transfer must be made with a licensed California gun dealer before any firearm may be sold or transferred.
“The purchaser must present the dealer with a valid California Driver’s License or a California I.D. Card and supply their thumbprint. The purchaser of a handgun must also provide additional proof of California residence. The dealer sends a copy of the application to the Ca. Dept. of Justice and the local police chief.”
They were making sure that laws were being followed, and porn is not illegal in general.

@B: I have to agree, she’s high up there on the gay enemies, but smearing her with this is not the best propaganda. Porn isn’t illegal, and this ad is making it sound as if it is, or it at least should be. I wouldn’t stop looking for a way to support Poizner though..
