In an election season that is so miserable you just want to hide under a rock, thank God for comedians mining the news to make us laugh in crazed relief. For example, the DonaldJGayTrump twitter account, which imagines how he’d tweet if he was a catty gay man.
For example: “Fantastic 2 tour w/ Gov mike_pence. GREAT Man. He’ll be a FANTASTIC VP. Loves Connie Britton. Not saying well have sex but like it’s there.”
Also: “ONLY baby boy I want to hold is Justin Bieber to my naked torso! hated baby at event yesterday- smelt like Britney Spears Curious fragrance!”
And our favorite: “President Obama will go down as WORST u.S. president! Michelle Obama fierce, should host SNL! Serving arms, hair, face, shoulders, ENSEMBLES”

What’s so hilarious — and maybe a little troubling — about this account is how it seems to accurately capture how many gays actually think, but with a horrible Trumpian twist. Like, yes, it actually would be amazing if Michelle Obama hosted SNL, and her ensembles are wonderful! (Also, she’s a brilliant lawyer and nonprofit head.)
Don’t tell anyone, but the secret identity of the account’s owner has leaked: it’s Matt Rogers, a gay comic and UCB performer. It’s remarkably similar to a Trump lip-sync video series, in which Trump’s terrible speeches are overdubbed with a fey lisp. Those are the work of actor Peter Serafinowicz, who is oddly enough also the voice of Darth Maul.

Quick now, all the Log Cabiners (And by that I mean the one Log Cabiner and his 4 or 5 sock puppet accounts) will come in here and cry, and play the victim and wring their hands and say “How dare you mean lib-tards attack Trump, you aren’t tolerant.”
And then of course they will call Clinton a Bitch and accuse her of murder. But apparently that isn’t the same thing.

I’d like to point out that the ‘voice’ in those Trump dub videos is a Liberace impersonation.
The first one he did was even labeled as such. It’s such a semi-dated impersonation, it’s understandable many people aren’t getting it. So, to be clear, it’s not just a random “fey lisp” but actually based on a specific fey-lisper.
