A queer legend, a queer twist, a queer killer… oh what a week we have in home entertainment.

I Am Divine pays tribute to a gender-bending icon, while Hot Guys With Guns (above) sees a pair of ex-boyfriends investigate a series of West Hollywood crimes.

Finally, a serial killer and novelist in search of a subject come together in sex-filled indie, The Writers.

Trailblazing gay icon and drag queen Divine, aka Harris Glenn Milstead, who starred in John Waters’ Pink Flamingos and Hairspray amongst other cult classics, passed away just as mainstream fame was upon him. Director Jeffrey Schwarz looks back at Divine’s life and career – from Baltimore beginnings to stint as dance music performer – unearthing juicy nuggets both hysterical and touching. Extras include 30 minutes’ worth of deleted scenes and commentary track with Schwarz and Mink Stole.

Hot Guys With Guns

Will the couple fall back in love during this zany attempt at sleuthing? A DVD release (with extra features) will follow this VOD run on May 6.
