Screening Room

DVD: “Jack The Giant Slayer,” “Let My People Go!” “Men to Kiss,” & More!

It’s a pretty gay week in home entertainment, from a gay Hollywood director’s take on a classic fairytale to foreign homoromance.

From France comes culture-crossing farce Let My People Go! while same-sex opposites attract in Germany’s rom-com Men to Kiss. Want something serious? Chile’s Des/Esperando charts a bad romance between a closeted politician and his younger hush-hush lover.

Meanwhile, Bryan Singer’s big-budget Jack the Giant Slayer packs a whole lot of 3D giant action — in English!

OMG, MEN TO KISS looks so cute (as does the cast).

  • Dani Alexander

@Jackhoffsky: It is supercute and weird at the same time. It’s a little too weird towards the middle, but overall it’s sweet and sexy and funny.
