Will & Grace star Eric McCormack’s biggest attempt to return to primetime television (aside from Lovespring International, which he produced and cameo’d in) was with Trust Me, a mostly flat attempt at spinning Mad Men ad industry sex appeal with the formulaic appeal of Psych. It didn’t work too well; Trust Me‘s ratings aren’t impressive, and the show isn’t expected to be picked up for a second season. (Such is the life of many shows that star Tom Cavanaugh. See: Love Monkey, Ed.) But McCormack is ready to roar again: He’s just signed on to an untitled ABC comedy pilot from writer-producer Tad Quill, playing married “heart surgeon with a new baby” Dean. The commercials for “Trust Me” seemed pretty boring. I never watched it. Did anyone watch it?

It had something going on but the interactions that were interesting made up a very small part of the show… I think they made the story too big & too soon.
Cee
Well the thing is Will was never really funny. It was Jack and Karen. Nobody wants to see Will, or even Grace for that matter. Good luck guys.
