On Monday, Pentacostal Bishop James Robinson compared marriage equality to pedophilia in a video posted on the “Grow With Hope” YouTube page.
In a taped message, the televangelist, 68, said not taking a stand against gay marriage “would be like stepping back when suddenly the public has decided to allow pedophiles to play in the public parks and there was nothing we could do about it because we refused to take a stand.”
Robison, the founder of the Christian relief organization Life Outreach International and the star of the show LIFE Today, is expected to take part in the Defense of Marriage Summit today in Las Vegas.

I lay in bed at night thinking: “those people say they are not homophobic, but “gay shouldn’t be allowed to get marriage because that would ruin the definition of marriage, and it would lead to bestiality, polygamy, necrophilia and pedophilia.” I think these people are truly hypocrite. When you think gay marriage is as sick as “bestiality or pedophilia”, it means you think gay people are just “sick” as well. “Nothing against gay”? That is such bull-crap. So if someone says to me: “I have nothing against gay but I don’t think you should get marriage equality”, I would love to tell them to their face that they are a two-faced, homophobic bigot.
