PurpleHand Eski?ehir, the Turkish LGBT advocacy group, claims Facebook closed down its page and disabled the accounts of ten administrators without notice on Dec. 28. Counters Facebook: “Permission is not being issued to groups using drugs, implying contents related to nudity and obscenity, containing violence and brutality, harassing an individual person or a group and supporting terrorist activities.” PurpleHand insists it is none of these things.
