Ricky Martin has revealed he’s not sure if he’s ready to stop having kids just yet.
The singer shares four children with his husband, Jwan Yosef. Martin had twins, Matteo and Valentino, in 2008. He met Jwan, an artist, in 2016. The men announced they were married in January 2018, and since that time they have welcomed daughter Lucía ( December 2018) and son Renn (October 2019) into the world.
Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Martin, 48, said, “Some people think I’m crazy but I love a big family and I have a couple of embryos waiting for me. “I don’t know. That’s all I got to say.”
He then quipped, “Jwan is going crazy at the moment, but it’s OK don’t tell him.”

Martin was speaking ahead of the Latin Grammy Awards last night, where he performed and won the award for Best Pop Vocal Album (for Pausa).
He also shared some candid photos of himself getting ready backstage via Instagram.

Martin also talked a little bit about family life, revealing his twin boys, 12, are on the cusp of being teenagers.

“Pre-adolescence is here and it’s getting funky. And on top of that, we’re dealing with a lockdown and it’s, ‘Grrr…get out of the way! This is my room, not yours, blah blah.’ You know, it’s all part of it,” Martin said.
“But these two are really cool kids. They’re doing really good in school considering what we’re dealing with and they have a beautiful little sister and a little brother and they own that role of the protective older brothers.”
“I’m very, very proud of them and I’m very lucky to have the family that I have.”

STOP having kids! The world is over populated to the breaking point- 4 is more than enough!!! If you want a large family- fine, there are MANY kids in desperate need of foster care. Having multiple kids in a world so in peril as ours is irresponsible!

I’m going to agree with Monarch and say that while Ricky Martin and his husband are free to choose whatever path they want in terms of expanding their family I hope they consider foster children or adopting orphaned children who really could use a home. Think of the children who’ve lost parents to Covid, or the hurricanes and earthquakes in Puerto Rico, or just in the foster care system already. I hope he considers some of them if there’s a connection, because they could use a loving home, and he has the resources to parent them as well as possible.

I don’t think anyone has a right to tell another how many children they should or should not have. It’s not like he will be on welfare and he can pay for the resources his family will use. If Ricky Martin wants a dozen children it’s his and his husband’s decision not the public. Not everyone wants to take on the burden of foster kids, who might likely be damaged mentally and adoption isn’t easy, unless you want an older child. I’m sure Ricky would be polite and kind to anyone who dared to tell him how to build his family but if it were me I would do a lot of bitchslapping. People need to stay in their own lane.

Ms Ricki is just bored and looking to keep busy. When his career was on ice, he then “decided” to come out bc had he done it during his vida loca days, his career would’ve been over before it started. We all knew back then he was gay ( they even had a sex and the city joke about it ). Regardless, I agree that he should do the responsible thing and adopt foster kids, but we all know he’s completely self serving.

I believe 4 is enough. I would never tell anyone when to stop having children. I would suggest he donate the stored embryos he has so other couples who cannot have kids experience the joy of being parents and a family just as he is.
