Another man has shared his uncomfortable experience with adult performer and Andrew Christian trophy boy Topher DiMaggio, bringing the number of accusers to five.
In an interview conducted prior to the Bryan Hawn story coming out with the work-unfriendly blog Str8upgayporn, the man, who goes by “Alex,” describes an incident at a Seattle gay bar in 2014.
Underwear designer Andrew Christian was hosting an event at the bar, where DiMaggio was working as a model and spokesperson for the brand.

It was Pride weekend in Seattle, in 2014. Andrew Christian was hosting a show with some Trophy Boys for a main event at Neighbours Nightclub; Topher was one of them. Neighbours is also an after hours from 2 to 4 a.m., and we went there with one of our friends who knew Topher. We met him, and he had this attitude the whole time. He kept saying, “You guys know this party is because of me, right? This is my party. Everyone’s here because of the party I’m throwing.”
I was hanging out in this VIP area to the right of the stage, and it’s raised several feet above the regular dance floor area. I was up there above the stage and chatting with Topher, and my boyfriend was down on the floor right beneath us, where he could see us. So I’m talking to Topher, and he just grabs my ass out of nowhere.
Alex’s first response was to be lighthearted about the grab.

He continues:
I thought he was joking, so I jokingly turned around and pulled my waistband down a little to be like, yes, that’s my ass. And then, all of a sudden, he flipped me around against the railing, crouched down and pulled my shorts down and started eating my ass.
Suddenly it wasn’t so funny.
Initially, I was stunned. I tried to push back and tell him no, and he reached his left arm up and pinned me down against the railing. I couldn’t really move and wanted him to stop, and my boyfriend had this look of shock on his face. All I could really do was reach back and smack him in the head with my hand. After I did, he bit down on my right butt cheek, hard.
Alex smacked him again, prompting Topher to allegedly bite down even harder before finally relinquishing. Alex was finally able to get away from the encounter.

Later in the night, Alex shares a detail that bears a resemblance to previous accusations: Topher got verbally aggressive and abusive.
When I got away from him and was leaving, Topher was yelling at me and calling me a pussy over and over again. I never saw him again after that, and I’ve avoided going to Andrew Christian events or to bars in WeHo when I’m there, because I know which bars he usually works at.

As of the time of this post, DiMaggio still appears on the homepage of Andrew Christian:
DiMaggio has strongly denied the original allegations of rape against him made by Tegan Zayne, saying: “These horrific accusations have shocked me to my core. All of my relations with this person have been consensual and willing.”
He has not responded to subsequent stories.

If it were just one person who was accusing DiMaggio of sexual assault then sure it could be said he was lying or attention seeking. Five people-I don’t think so. Why would they want to put their names out there knowing they’d be called liars and criticized. Too many people are quick to defend DiMaggio. If this was a man abusing a woman situation there would be a lot of support. Like another commenter said “People shouldn’t be making excuses for DiMaggio, an entitled rapist just because you think he’s attractive. That being said if DiMaggio wasn’t good looking people wouldn’t be depending him.

OK, this sounds like Topher DiMaggio has engaged in a pattern of aggressive, sometimes violent behavior. When I read that this accuser had sent mixed signals by lowering his underwear to show off his ass, after supposedly being unwillingly groped, it was almost like he was sending DiMaggio a green light. But then DiMaggio allegedly pinned him against the railing, rimmed him against his will, and repeatedly bit him as the guy fought him off. (Though why didn’t his boyfriend also step in and fight off TDiM?) That is assault. Have any of these accusers pressed charges or at least spoken with a lawyer? It sounds like one of them should or these attacks may continue on other unsuspecting guys.

By this logic every half-naked guy at a club is basically sending an open invitation to anyone to just come and use them like a sex toy.
This is the same sort of victim-blaming you see when someone asks a woman what she was wearing. It doesn’t matter if the victim was initially playful about the situation – the moment it escalated and he indicated either verbally or physically that the attention was inappropriate it became sexual assault.
It’s really that simple.
Don’t make excuses for an entitled rapist because you happen to think he’s attractive.

I’ve been pinned down before and I’ve also had lighter sexual assaults against me that aren’t as serious (an affectionate or joking ass pat). I’ve also been on the other end of things and been told I did things that were not consensual. So I can see both sides of the situation. If you take his response at face value, it may be that he truly believes he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Adrenaline and hormones can affect the brain strangely. Sometimes we’re not self aware. But it doesn’t feel like that when someone is causing you trauma. So to say “lock him up” isn’t fair. That’s just going to send him to prison where he’ll possibly get raped. I don’t see why a reeducation wouldn’t work in this situation. This is just based on face value, and I’m not belittling the victim of the crime, or the crime itself. There’s always the chance that he is beyond the help of therapy and requires discipline instead.

Topher happens to live next-door to my best friend and his husband. They live in West Hollywood on Cynthia. I stay there when I need to be in LA and we’ve run into Topher in the garage and courtyard of the HOA. He has always been a quiet, self-effacing, rather kind man when I’ve been there. My friends report him to be a great neighbor, very helpful in the HOA. I am having trouble seeing the man I know from my experience with the voice given to him by his accusers.
Given his simply incredible good looks (his photos do not do him justice), I would be thrilled to have him sexually assault me.

What you’re expressing here is a very common response to allegations of this nature.
How a person conducts themselves in public or with others rarely correlates to how they treat their victims. There are any number of psychologists who have written articles or papers on this sort of Jekyll/Hyde experience.
It’s one of a number of tools abusers use to hide their actions. If you’re considered one of the sweetest people in the neighborhood who is going to believe you regularly beat your wife behind closed doors.

I have been sexually assaulted and raped; it doesn’t matter how physically attractive a person is when they are holding you down and violating you in the most personal way imaginable without your consent. When people say, “I wish he would rape me,” they are describing a fantasy scenario, which is inherently consensual because it is in your mind.
Real life sexual assault and rape is nothing like the scenario you wish for; you are not in control, there is no safe word, they don’t care about your feelings, your pleasure, your safety. You are a non-entity.
When a survivor like myself hears someone like you make a statement that they would like an accused rapist to rape them because of their “incredible good looks,” and they would be “thrilled to have him sexually assault” them, it minimizes them and their experiences. Please educate yourself.

You should re-read the article. The victim admits to pulling down his waistband to show a bit of his butt. In response he alleges that Topher physically pushed him around, forcibly removed his shorts, and began giving him a rim job.
He elaborates that when he attempted to stop this physically (and verbally) Topher pinned his arms down and continued. The victim then physically struck Topher not once, but twice, during which time Topher continued.
Let me put it in smaller terms.
Topher initiated a sexual act.
The victim verbally said no to this act, and physically attempted to stop Topher from continuing.
Topher continued.
The victim continued physically attempting to stop Topher.
There is a word for when a person is engaging in forced, unwanted sexual conduct. It’s called rape.
