Fisher-Price has figuratively thrown open its arms to give a big old group hug to the millions of LGBT families living in America with a new photo campaign in conjunction with Proud Parenting.
The toy company teamed with the online LGBT parent community forum to launch the Proud Parenting LGBT Family Photo Gallery, a curated photo collection of LGBT parents and their families.
The campaign hopes to “lead the way to a new generation of families” by showcasing some of the country’s three million LGBT parents and six million Americans who have a parent that identifies as LGBT.
Below are some photos from the LGBT Family Photo Gallery — find more at Proud Parenting, on Facebook and Instagram.

And the countdown for a boycott of Fisher Price (and parent Mattel) by One Million Moms (actually six old women in housecoats sitting on a porch in Alabama) begins in three…two…one…
Actually, I’m reminded of a line from the musical Hair: “How dare they try to end this beauty?”

I guess One Bitter Mom is just going to have to send her kids out to make mud pies and play with only their imaginations instead of buying toys now. I’m sure her kids are out playing “crucify the neighbors cat” this afternoon.
