Sounds like phoney pandering. I would trust her about as far as I could throw one of those fake over pumped meat head wrestlers.

I don’t know much about her policies, but the argument that her response was short so she doesn’t care is just stupid. People draw things out when they’re lying or want wiggle room later. They respond concisely when they’re being more honest.

She was an amazing business woman. Her and her husband completely built the WWE which is now a multi-million dollar corporation from the ground up. However, she also completely understand entertainment. In short, she is Mitt Romney in a dress who understands exactly where the bar should be set (which Mitt has a problem with). Do not believe a word she says, but she will say it really well.

Wow, a Republican supports gay rights and all of the haters come out to complain and gripe. Better to see Democrats and Republicans advance on this issue than not to. Most politicians are becoming more gay friendly as the public becomes more friendly to the idea. Remember that Democrats in Washington had the time to push through healthcare and to extend the Patriot Act, etc —- but left ENDA, DADT, UAFA and DOMA for a later day.

Let more Republicans support equality. Stop griping y’all. Do you really believe this isn’t political for 90% of politicians. Few politicians stand up TO TAKE A RISK on something. NOM is ensuring the Republicans who did stand up for equality not get re-elected…. and their attempts are working. Better we support these Republicans than complain about their motives. We don’t do that with each Democrat that evolves or comes around do we? I didn’t think so.

Pure Pandering. Queerty doesn’t even bother to report what she actually said during the debate…she doesnt even KNOW what the federal law on marriage is…she thought there was a law SUPPORTING marriage equality.

      The exchange at the debate:

“I absolutely support America’s law for, you know, same-sex marriage,” McMahon said. “And, uh, I wouldn’t pretend to try to impose my will or rights on others, I think everyone should have the freedom to make that choice.”

McMahon’s vague answer gave Murphy an opening.

“America doesn’t have a law protecting same-sex marriage, in fact it has the exact opposite,” he shot back. “She’s not going to stand up to her party in Washington when it comes to these issues that are right now being dominated by the social right.”
