Fran Drescher Will Make A Television Show About Divorcing A Gay Man

Will TV Land soon replace Bravo and even Lifetime as the place for television for women and gay men? After suckering us in with Betty White in Hot In Cleveland, the network has picked up Fran Drescher’s sitcom Happily Divorced, loosely based on her own life marrying (and divorcing) a gay man. I assume Fran’s fictional character will be on good terms with her fictional ex — after all, real-life Fran is executive producing the series with gay ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobsen, whom she is also working on her new talk show with, and whom co-created The Nanny. Now can we get fellow gay knot tier Arianna Huffington a cameo spot please?
