Game of Thrones’ new hunk; first all-male salsa team; Kesha meets Dolly

Imagine Bea Arthur as Golden Girls’ Dorothy Zbornak. Pretty funny, right?

Okay. Now imagine drag queen Alaska 5000 impersonating Bea Arthur playing Golden Girls‘ Dorothy Zbornak. Insanely, ludicrously funny, huh?

Hold it, though. Now imagine drag queen Alaska 5000 impersonating Bea Arthur playing Golden Girls’ Dorothy Zbornak singing an embittered cover of Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know.” Preeeeetty fucking goddamn she-larious, eh?

See for yourself:

You didn’t know you needed a same-sex salsa routine in your life, and we can’t hold that against you. What we can do is clear the cobwebs and ghosts away so you can see the true path to becoming your best possible self.

The process begins and ends with the below vid. Featuring the, erm, artfully-named salsa group Team Same Gender showcasing their mad skills under the directorial purview of Dioney Da Silva.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Kesha/Dolly Parton collaboration “Old Flames (Can’t Hold a Candle To You)”, featured on Kesha’s long-awaited Rainbow album:

  • It’s the one song on the album Kesha didn’t write
  • Kesha previously hailed Parton as a “positive compass” in her life and career
  • The song was originally written by Kesha’s mom, Rosemary Patricia “Pebe” Sebert (alongside Hugh Moffatt) for Parton
  • Parton cut a version of the track for her 1980 album Dolly Dolly Dolly, and it was a huge-ass hit
  • You can hear it below.

We’re eagerly awaiting Basic Instinct 3, which will star Sharon Stone’s ashes in a shapely urn. (“She looks amazing!”

Stone’s ashes will reprise the role of catlike murderess/author Catherine Tramell, manipulating a new harem of men and leading them to the doom. (The cigarette smoking scene will become an instant classic.)

We may be waiting a very long time. So, for now, we’ll enjoy this newly found footage of Stone’s original Basic Instinct audition:

Meet Game of Thrones‘ latest mound of manflesh: insipidly droolworthy Tom Hopper.

The 32-year-old actor, who portrays Dickon Tarly on the latest season, looks like he spends a lot of time at the gym when not chipping away at trouble spots with an awl.

Sure, his character will probably wind up decapitated, drawn, quartered, dismembered, incinerated, and thrown into a gulley, but that will just make us cherish his screen time all the more.

Check out the ridiculousness below:

. Ball slams. Every day. Repeatedly. Even in my sleep.
