The National Black Justice Coalition’s oh-so-proud to announce its new video series exploring the ins and, more importantly, out being black and gay. The Coalition, which dedicates itself to fighting for the good gay, black fight, will bring a new installment every month to insure gays, straights and everyone in-between get the low down on everything from down low brother to homophobia in black churches.
If you’re at all interested in such matters, you should definitely check it out. If not, well, then you should really check it out.

APPLAUSE!
As a Gay White Man who has done lots of youth counseling over the years I’ve seen the ethnic lie of Machismo do horrible mental and physical damage to young Black, Latino and even Asian teens/young adults who are trying to juggle their sexual truth with social demands.
This is “one of those things” WE as the Gay & Lesbian community, should have been focused on and dealing with over a decade ago in that we MUST get our own house in order if we are going to achieve the level of “acceptance” and “freedom” we’re ALL screaming about and demanding. Educating and opening the door for non-whites is, in my opinion, far more important than justifying Drag sex changes, etc. (what some would call the “fringe issues” of the community.)
I applaud the creators, producers and participants in this effort!

I agree with you Graig. As a blk. male, I am amazed how the wht. gay community don’t understand why the blk. community are having their own blk. gay pride. It’s because they were never made to feel that they are a part of the gay wht. community in the first place. Bravo to you for getting it!

“More important than justifying Drag sex changes”? Excuse me?
