A few years from now, Robert Sepulveda Jr. will be shrugging off reports that he was once the star of LOGO’s “Finding Prince Charming.” But for now, he’s continuing to come clean about his past — the rumors, the fact, and the (supposed) lies.
In an interview with People, Sepulveda addresses a number of topics, from private videos to furniture stores to paying the bills.

On his rumored adult film past:
“There are stories that I did porn. I never did porn.
“There is a video circulating out there that I shot privately and sent to an ex-boyfriend. It feels so violating that someone would take something so private and share it with the world. I want to work to make sure there are laws protecting people from similar situations. It’s just not right.”

On how he arrived at his decision to escort:
“The small furniture store I was working at suddenly went out of business.
“I didn’t know how I was going to pay rent or my [college] tuition or buy food.
“I saw no other way to support myself so I decided to do it too. I had all those expenses, I just knew that I had to do something. I had no other choice.”

On whether he expected his past to come up when he signed on to do Finding Prince Charming:
“I didn’t want to have to talk about that time in my life again. But I’m not ashamed of my past. I own it, and I talk about it with the guys on [Finding Prince Charming.]”
It begs the question: if he didn’t want to talk about his life, why sign on to be the focus of a reality dating show?
Finding Prince Charming premieres tonight at 9/8c on Logo.

The first quote shows what a phony this guy is. I have at least 7 of his videos from xtube, dudesnude, etc. Tell me, was his ex boyfriend’s pet name for him Uncut10inch? Cuz that’s the name on the videos.
Xzamilio
He saw no other way to support himself, huh? It’s funny how half of the average rolly-polly demographic would have to find another way to support themselves… because half of the rolly polly demographic doesn’t look like him. This show has gotten attention for all the wrong reasons, and I bet Logo is just itching to run all the episodes and move the hell on. If there’s a reunion, though, I’m watching that shit!!!

Now days after a background check there should be a porn check. Do you realize how many people post sex pics and movies of themselves online? Just about everyone (the smart ones don’t show their faces). In this day and age it isn’t such a big deal. Even our elected officials are doing it right and left (and getting caught).

my issue isn’t his sexual past it’s this continuing effort by producers to promote the most unhealthy images of gay men as being the ideal. This guy looks like he’s spent a lot of time on his face, fillers and plumpers at the very least, and obviously he’s no stranger to roids.. There are incredibly attractive gay men out there who don’t look and act like self mutilating housewives.
robho3
@geoker: Yeah I was going to say the same thing and the videos were still on there after the story broke and several days later. This is just telling me that LOGO totally knows about this and was playing it up to get free PR. Saves LOGO the cost of advertising. Everyone always slows down to watch a train wreck.

It is so sad that Logo picked this guy. He only represents a tiny fraction of the gay community. #notmygay. Everyone has a past, but WOW. Well we know for sure that there wont be a season 2.
Baba Booey Fafa Fooey
Looking forward to this show.
Jack Meoff
This guy can’t seem to open his mouth without telling more lies. I wonder if he believes the stories he tells or he just thinks people are stupid enough to believe him.
stanpaske
I agree. They went for attractive and typical. There are plenty of average, ordinary and seeking guys that seek true love. They could have gone with “Kissing a Frog”. The pretty boys have not problem finding or getting dates and I think this “Prince” can find love if he tried. The one who gets over looked is the nerd, dork, middle aged, etc in the corner. Logo had the chance to show dimension and depth and they went with typical and expected.
Josh447
The typical Hollywood movie model for men is hot and handsome. That will never change. That’s who people want to watch. Whether Logo knew about this guy’s past or not, the looks of the lead is right on track. It remains to be seen as to the fall-out of his shadyness as an individual and the integrity he expresses. So far that is a huge sticking point. He lied by omission. That’s hard to erase from a resume, no matter who knew what.

I worked at a furniture store, he was not paying rent and his tuition on that alone… what any other average joe would do would be to look for another job. You go to sucking d**k and shoving thing of your A** for strangers in videos.
Which there is nothing wrong with that, hell i did a few vids for fun, but i own all of it. It was certainly me who did it, not ever going to deny that. You are completely lying about it, and trying to backtrack from it.
It’s what make him even less attractive, regardless of his physical appearance, there aren’t enough protein shakes or inches between his legs to make him attractive to me. Liars are disgusting.

@Jack Meoff: Well, it seems to work for Trump, so I guess he thought why not try it too?
For myself, I dislike reality shows so have no interest in this at all.
But the funny thing was when i saw my first picture of him I thought at least “well, he’s a handsome man”.
It’s strange that all the pics of seen of him now, I’m finding him less and less attractive.
Brian
I think Grinding Prince Charming will flop.
Aromaeus
A lot of his potential suitors are better looking than him in my opinion.
jdboston617
Prince Shaming. Sorry dude. I don’t judge you on a personal level, but making YOU into a prince charming is insulting to the gay community. The show is now a joke and bomb. Nice work searching for this loser. Bye Finding Prince Charming. You won’t be missed.
jdboston617
@truckproductions: Thank you!
Sabelmann
OMG…he have a past!
Kieran
Apparently, the raison d’être of the Logo Channel is to promote the most negative stereotypes about gay “men”.
Josh447
The first show was tastefully done, very entertaining. “Fifi” has to go asap, unless you like toy poodles dawning excessive sequins and needing consistent attention.
I predict Prince Alarming will end up with either Sam or the tall guy who lost his lover to suicide. Really good stuff, lots of laughs. I’m looking forward to the next show.
Great job everyone!
BriBri
I would only touch him with a 10 foot pole from across the room. Prostitute….
danciergy
I have no problem with the fact that he did escort work. I think he’s sexy as hell. I do have a problem with his categorization of his escorting being when he was young and had to pay for college. This is a complete mischaracterization, this is only a half truth. His escorting was done much more recently than 10 years ago. I know this as fact, I pointed this out on the buzzfeed article when it first broke that he was the Prince Charming, I pointed this out to Perez Hilton, and I will point it out to everyone to see until someone actually listens to me.
Doughosier
A lot of people are judging him. Beauty is a commodity, whether straight up prostituion or just being courted by wealthy people. I don’t fault him for making money from his looks. I don’t think he needs to lie about it either.
Brian
The problem with a lot of gay-identifying guys is that your promiscuity is similar to that of the female prostitute. You can thus relate to prostitution. Many of you think it’s hip or “cool”.
Fact is, it’s awful. Prostitution is fraught with drug addiction. Female prostitutes are disgusting messes of individuals. They are regularly abused by their pimps. No glory in it whatsoever.
Prostitution is a poor career choice for a woman and it’s a poor choice for a man. Men don’t need to seek male prostitutes, in any case, as men are promiscuous by nature and will find free and easy sex with other men wherever they go.
The only men who seek the services of male prostitutes are men who don’t wish to be seen on the gay scene. These men are usually married to women or they are men who identify as straight who would not want to be seen dead on the gay scene. Seeking the services of a male prostitute is a safe way of fulfilling one’s fantasies without being seen on the scene.

@Brian:
Once again, Brian, your stupidity never ceases to amaze me – Your equation Gay guys=Promiscuous, Prostitutes=Promiscuous Gay guys=Prostitution=Hip & Cool, is just wrong.
Yes, a percentage of gay guys are promiscuous, just like a percentage of straight guys. For every Grindr app, there is a Tinder app populated by certain demographics of straight guys, looking for sex. A majority of gay guys are in monogamous relationships, and perfectly happy. A lot of straight guys, whether married or not, are also promiscuous. Just look at the swinging scenes, dogging scenes, or online sites like the notorious Ashley Madison for evidence that straight guys get a lot of sex.
Prostitution is not about looking for sex for pleasure. It is a profession where the sex worker is engaging in sex, not for pleasure, but for money. Whether they enter that profession by choice or not is immaterial. It’s not the same as looking for a quick hook-up. – People seek prostitutes for a number of different reasons. Anonymity is just one reason. Other reasons might include fantasy fulfilment, access to a particular body type, personal insecurities, or just the convenience of it all.
I’ve no doubt that there are men who hire male escorts because they have repressed their sexuality, got married etc., but this generalising from having no life experience yourself, and from just reading stuff on the news & forming assumptions, is pretty unhealthy, Brian. – Get a life!
robho3
@trell: yes Brian’s views and comments are very entertaining to read. He has moral judgement on EVERYTHING. I think he was planted here by Oral Roberts University.
Chris
Your past is what got you to today. AT least that’s what I tell anyone who I’m seeing. And as long as he didn’t hurt anyone and is not a threat to anyone (including me), I figure it’s all part of learning to accept the other person.
In this guy’s case, putting aside the hype of his TV show, I’d ask him about how yesterday got him to today. In other words, to me, it’s not that big a deal.

And this is our Prince Charming per Logo? I wouldn’t introduce this guy to my family. How much is he per hour? Asking for a friend. Kidding, I wouldn’t wish this mess on my worst enemy. Hmmm, I need to think about that last statement…..
Everybody’s got to sell
But when you shake your ass
They notice fast
