Gay Couple Re-Creates “X-Men” Cover For Superhero-Studded Wedding

A gay couple that’s been together 20 years ceremonially tied the knot at last weekend’s Dragon*Con in Atlanta. Though same-sex marriage is not legal in Georgia, a crowd of Marvel cosplayers helped re-create artist Dustin Weaver’s cover for Astonishing X-Men #51, which depicted the wedding of mutant superhero Northstar and his boyfriend, Kyle Jindau.
