Gay Marriage Bill Goes to Vermont Senate Today

After Vermont’s Senate Judiciary Committee voted 5-0 on Friday to permit legislators to vote on a bill legalizing same-sex marriage — or rather, stripping the opposite-sex definition of marriage — a special session is being called today to let the State Senate issue a vote. [AP]
