Four British firemen were admonished after dousing a gay foursome:
The firemen shone their torches from their engine into bushes on the Downs – an area of parkland in Bristol said to be popular with people engaging in late-night outdoor sex known as “dogging” – interrupting the four as they were involved in a gay sex act.
One of the group later contacted the AIDS charity, the Terrence Higgins Trust, who advised him to make a formal complaint.
Under gay fire, the Avonmouth fire department fined the apparently offensive firemen and moved them to a new station.
The complainant says he’s content with the punishment, but some fire officials are fuming.
This is a complete farce. All four officers have been let down by their senior officers when they most needed their support.
They have been treated as the criminals in this case and it has been completely forgotten that they witnessed criminal activity occurring in a public place.
That’s kind of real.

Yeah, it does sound like a bit of an over-reaction. I mean, if the firemen harassed and beat up the gays, then that’s another matter. But that’s not what the piece says. They just interrupted them mid public sex with a bit of “ello ello ello, what’s goin’ on ‘ere then?” Some gays can be so over-sensitive.

Wow, what an act of hate! Shining flashlights on a bunch of guys having ILLEGAL PUBLIC SEX! Seriously, punishing the firefighters sounds like a gross overreaction.
Cruise or don’t cruise, but it always has been and always will be my opinion that if you’re going to consciously assume the risk of having sex in public, you’d better consider all the possible consequences. That said, what exactly did the firefighters do wrong? Prevent four orgasms from happening in the bushes? The scandal!

Dang, I thought this was gonna be a post about four gorgeous firemen getting caught having sex with each other in the firehouse. I’m disappointed it’s not…

Those ladies had no right to be ‘carrying on’ on public property in the first place. Obviously they were too cheap to get a room. More power to the (hot?) firemen who ‘doused’ them!

Having recently lived in England I can tell you that the illegality of public sex is a “wink, wink, nudge, nudge” kind of thing and they take their anti homophobia laws very seriously.

I live in England now and I still think this is disgusting. Get a room, seriously.
