It’s a tawdry tale you may have seen pop up on your Facebook feed: Two muscly men in a loving relationship who are shocked to discover they’re twins.
As the story goes, Jason Osbourne and Alex Brown were in a committed relationship until a DNA test revealed the two were related.
The original article has garnered over 32,000 shares on Facebook, because twincest.
So, the burning question: Is this article true?
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
The burning answer? No, not even.
First published by World Daily News on September 26, the piece quotes Jason as saying:
“We did the tests partly as a joke and to shut up some of our friends who were constantly teasing us about being cousins.”
“Never did I expect to learn we were in fact long lost twins.”
“The man that I expected to spend my life with, my soul mate, is in fact my twin brother. I don’t know if I have to cry or to jump with joy.”
Later in the piece, Jason says:
“First I learn that my gay lover is my twin brother, now I learn I was adopted and that my parents have lied to me all my life.
What a heck of way to celebrate my 25th birthday.
Sometimes I wish we had never gone for that DNA test.”
Although the story became an instant viral sensation, it’s also a virulent pile of falsehoods and lies.

World Daily News is a satirical news publication that manufactures viral stories without bothering to report or even aggregate their pieces.
Editors no doubt consider the article a roaring success: Hundreds of thousands of people fell for the story hook, line, and sinker.
World Daily News’ disclaimer page reads:
“All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any persons, living, dead, or undead is purely a miracle.”

Don’t we get enough FAKE NEWS as it is?
dwes09
It is not “fake news”. Fake news is the right’s term for stories that bother them or uncover their lies and hypocrisy. This is satirical news, and overwhelmingly these sites are quite obvious to those who know how to parse media or view content critically.
All satirical news sites have disclaimers that are easily found, and going through the headlines makes it clear anyway. Conventional news sites that make errors retract or correct them as soon as it is brought to their attention. By contrast, Breitbart, Fox, and their ilk simply lie or spin as hard as they can.

I may be alone in my opinion but IF this were a true story, had it been me and I was that gorgeous and had a relationship with someone as gorgeous as the other half, damned be to incest. I would have been able to live with the fact that my unknown brother for my entire life has been my lover.
Yes, I know, this is fiction. I’m just saying. Anyone read Flowers In The Attic might understand why it’s partially to do with my way take of this story if it were real.
Jim
The men in those pics above are twin brothers Alex and Charlie Kotze, who work on their parent’s farm and post frequently to their Facebook page!

No gay man says “my gay lover”. Maybe in 1950. Big giveaway it was fake to me.
ATLSWIMMAN8
This is a NEW low even for QUEERTY…
dwes09
You obviously did not read the article, or have no sense of humor.
By the way there are a few real sets of twins who do porn, and they are hot as hell!
Incest is only of concern to those who breed. To “people of faith” it is no more of a sin than homosexuality anyway.
crowebobby
If they’re not going to have children with each other (if ever that’s possible), it doesn’t matter.
Jack Meoff
Every post this guy makes is just creepy and wrong. Is that on purpose just to get a reaction?
Heywood Jablowme
@Jack: Yep.
dwes09
He is correct, it is only shocking if you are into “christian morality”. And the danger of genetic narrowing among breeders is not as bad as once thought as long as it does not go on for several generations.
Brian
Yeah, he’s bizarre. He’s usually defending pedophilia. I can’t tell if that’s actually his face or if he’s a troll with a lot of spare time.
Sam6969
They look so alike that the story was not credible since the beginning. They woud have immediately guessed they were twins.
Jaxton
They look like a couple of posers.
stevetalbert
As long as they hold the pose until i can climb on, I’m good with it.
dwes09
Fool! That is because THEY’RE POSING!
Maybe you meant poseurs, but I doubt it.
Daniel-Reader
Wonder how much they paid the models and the photographer to use those photos to avoid a defamation suite.
Creamsicle
Probably nothing since they will probably claim that they only used the photos as inspiration for a fictional story, and therefore it should fall under Fair Use protection. It could only be considered libel or defamation if the story had named the men in the photos, but since everything they wrote was a lie no actual defamation occurred and their lies were not about the men in the photos.

Eww incest fantasy yuk

Yeah it’s weird, and I bet if “twincest” ever actually happens in real life, it’s fatties that hardly any of those drooling cretins would enjoy looking at.

Is the “World Daily News” related to the “Weekly Wordly News”? It sounds similar. ‘Member them? The black-and-white newspaper at the checkout stand with the infamous picture of “Batboy!” on the front page? Jeebus Dog I miss them. They are the toothless, corncob pipe smoking, great-granddaddy of Fake News. The atheists at The Onion take time before work each morning to pray to the Weekly Wordly News. KellyAnne Conway tried to masturbate with one of their old, rolled up papers when she was on vacation, but the friction with her old, dried up cootchie caused the big fire out north of L.A. last month. Long gone are they simple Fake News days of the “Inquirer” and the “Weekly Worldly News” where we could be safe in our beds that Sasquatch impregnated our grandmother and Peter Falk’s glass eye was a secret alien transmitter recording information for our future alien overlords. *sigh*

Yes….worldnetdaily, the Onion, Queerty…anyone who takes ANY of these seriously has issues with reality.
