Girl Scout Cookies Pimp Their Boxes For 100th Anniversary

The super-inclusive Girl Scouts have repackaged their famed cookies!

The new exteriors showcase five entrepreneurial skills the Scouts teach straight, gay and trans girls: goal-setting, decision-making, money-management, people skills and business ethics. They’ll depict scouts in a variety of activities, including working in a park, kayaking and public speaking.

“We have more than 50 million cookie customers across the country, and the cookie box is the most tangible and powerful way for us to communicate directly with consumers,” said Girl Scouts CEO Anna Maria Chávez.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, the GSC also recently added a new flavor, Savannah Smiles, that pays homage to Girls Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low of Savannah, GA. The Girl Scout Cookie Program starts in October and runs through May, but  check the Cookie Locator mobile app find them in your hood.
