WATCH: “Glee” Belatedly Jumps On The “Call Me Maybe” Bandwagon

By now, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has had more mileage than a mid-sized, fuel economy sedan with everyone and their mother recording videos of themselves lip-synching what was clearly the song of the summer/all eternity. [Ed. note: undeniably the best version]. Glee, which returns for its fourth season tomorrow, is determined to ride that song till the wheels fall off. While it pales in comparison to the original, we support any and everything featuring future breakout star, Unique, aka Alex Newell. Hopefully, though, this will put the ubiquitous hit to bed since it really needs a rest.

Not the best song for this episode. Liked Kate Hudson’s Gaga/J-Lo mash-up better.

@mpwaite: You’re a little late to that party. He was a successful candidate on the first season of the Glee Project and did, indeed, perform in a wig and pumps last season on Glee.
