Goldie-HawnLike too many Americans I had no idea what sort of persecution and discrimination LGBT people in Nigeria are going through. I am shocked, appalled and heartbroken. STOP these atrocities!”

Well, you know, I’m glad that Goldie issued this new statement but she’s still clueless in an overall sense. GLAAD should have criticized her instead of getting chummy with her for the purpose of protecting her image.

Many of us are ignorant about human right’s abuses in foreign countries. I’m glad that she took ownership for her mistake by issuing this statement.
