GRAPHIC: Behold The New Plan For The Fire Island Pines Pavilion

The Fire Island Pines Pavilion is far from being rebuilt after it—and other properties at the Pines Harbor—were devastated by fire last fall. Now the Fire Island Pines Historical Society has released some renderings of what the night venue will look like—in summer 2013. For this summer, it’s gonna be a big tent.

I’m lovin’ it too. But can’t you see some drunken, hopped up gurl trying to slide down one of the wooden struts in his new Christian A speedo?

Can’t wait to vist NYC again and make a trip out there. Are Diller + Scofidio stil doing the design?

The design is by HWKN (Hollwich Kushner)!

I don’t like it. It looks like an abandoned tree house…but then again I’ve never been to fire island. Maybe that’s their thing.
