my “disease mouth” is as quick to condemn anti gay violence when committed by whites, – but the FACT is that white violence on gays is less frequent (unless you’re suggesting that there is a conspiracy of silence on this issue when whites attack gays here and in the US ? )

I used to be a committed anti-racist but experience of black behaviour has woken me up.
The question we have to ask is WHY blacks attack gays so much, in numbers out of all proportion to their percentage of the overall population?

For us in DC that reside in the area of the attack, it’s not a black vs black, black vs. white, gay vs straight, or straight vs straight argument. It’s simple crime of one person against another. It’s one of public safety and that area has a very high crime rate which the elected officials and the police have done nothing about. They state that crime is down in that area … but the shootings, muggings, robberies continue.
Even yesterday, there was a shooting just three blocks from where the mugging occurred. DC officials state that crime is down in the area …. but they don’t live in our area – they live tony Georgetown.
