“A gay pornography producer from Virginia has been found guilty of murdering a rival in his northeastern Pennsylvania home. Harlow Raymond Cuadra could face the death penalty for killing 44-year-old Bryan Kocis and setting his house on fire in January 2007.
“Luzerne County Assistant District Attorney Michael Melnick said Cuadra and his former lover, Joseph Kerekes, stabbed Kocis to death and tried to burn down his home to cover up the murder.
“Prosecution witnesses said Cuadra, 27, and Kerekes were business partners trying to lure an actor away from Kocis’ company. Kerekes pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in December. Sentencing proceedings for Cuadra are scheduled to begin Friday.” [Philly.com]

Well, Kerekes pled guilty to 2nd degree murder. I think if you are innocent, you either fight for a better deal or roll the dice at trial.

I personally don’t care that Kocis is dead; he was a child exploiting piece of garbage. However, I don’t think Cuadra had anything to do with the murder, even though he knew it was going to happen and didn’t try to stop Kerekes. Prison, yes. Death? For Kerekes yes, but not for Cuadra. But since Kerekes made a deal, he’s going to live and Cuadra’s going to die. Nothing says I love you like turning state’s evidence against your lover, and implicating him in a murder he never commited. The funny thing in all this? Brent Corrigan’s career is soaring with bigger porn productions and mainstream film work

I always thought he was guilty. He’s a sociopath. Have you ever heard this guy talk? I get a sweet tooth just listening to this guy. He even had me wanting to believe he was innocent, but my common sense told me otherwise. All of the “circumstantial evidence.” Sorry, but everything is not a coincidence and everybody is not out to get you.

i think this dude shouldnt die… i mean if it was to lure brent out of the biz that would be acceptable. I mean come on he was underage than. and this kocsis guy deserved his fate coz not knowing someone is underage isnt a good enough reason. didnt he have more better ways to check when doing bizzness
