Before there was Britney, there was Madonna. And before there was Madonna, there was Cher.
The original gay dance diva turns 68 today, though you’d never believe it, partly because she has an amazing plastic surgeon, but mostly because she’s still a total bad ass. When she’s not calling Sarah Palin a “dumb c**t” (her words, not ours!), she’s selling out stadiums while on tour supporting her latest album, Closer to the Truth, which, we have to say, is perhaps her best to date.
We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate one of our most favorite superstar’s birthday than by peeking back at some of her most fabulous looks over the years. In addition to cranking out hits, Cher has always oozed sex appeal, from the 1960s through today.
