I think this is part of a larger trend toward youth in media. Just as older actors (especially older women) are having a hard time getting work, there are younger people becoming superstars. Everything is skewed.

There has always been rumours that he is gay despite the many women he is photographed with. I found photos of him horsing around with extremely cute male friends. He comes from a remote island somewhere in the UK. I am not a fan of the muscles he developed for his part in Superman. He is cuter when he is more natural, such as in The Tudors.
