This Friday, Adele drops her new album — 25 — and the radio will never be the same again.
And while “Hello” has certainly earned a place in our hearts, we’re ready to switch it up a bit. There’s only so many circuit remixes we can manage before it all starts to sound the same.
In a video preview for a 60 Minutes Australia interview, we get a first taste of another track that will unquestionably be stuck in our heads by Thanksgiving — “When We Were Young.”

She´s recording at The Church Studios in London…the same place owned by Eurythmics, where another diva, Annie Lennox, recorded much of her material with Dave Stewart and then as a soloist.

I will admit, I don’t get what the fuss is about Adele. Yeah, she has a great voice, but her songs sound a bit samey; all drenched in reverb and big bombastic orchestral productions in the background.
I’d love to hear what that voice could do with a rock, dance or funk track though.
Can someone please tell her to leave the shmaltzy power-ballads behind and step out of her comfort zone? Please?
