A video trending on Twitter puts into sharp focus the hypocrisy of Fox News.
Fox News hosts have had a lot to say about privacy in the wake of the Jan. 6 committee releasing several text messages they sent to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows during the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Hosts Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, two of the on-air personalities whose messages were made pubic, both railed against the committee and its vice-chairwoman, Liz Cheney.

The messages — provided to the committee by Meadows and read aloud by Cheney, showed that three Fox News hosts urged Meadows to get then-President Donald Trump to publicly call off the violent rioters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.
But how do these hosts — and several others on the network — feel about privacy when they aren’t the ones facing scrutiny?

We must realize that the only explanation is that Fox News wants to destroy America.#FoxRuse pic.twitter.com/mRMErevG8m

“It’s not hyperbolic to say that Fox ‘News’ is deliberately trying to dismantle and underscore the public’s faith in our democratic institutions each and every day,” commented one viewer.
“So evidently FOX and its employees are only outraged when they are the people being exposed,” another observed. “Otherwise it’s continuous gaslighting from them.”
And one commenter put it succinctly: “The hypocrisy is disgusting.”
Additional evidence of these people’s brazen, poisonous charlatanism is not going to change any hearts and minds. If anything it will only serve to further endear them to their target audience.
The Republican Party is now officially a cult. All the standard practices of a cult ranging from gaslighting, separating a person from truth, repeatedly telling lies to cover actions….it’s all there in plain view. The only problem is 77 million people seem to be under its spell…..and we need a national truth and reconciliation council or a nationwide deprogramming…
When Faux Newz started in ’96, I was the only woman and one of very few liberals in a field dominated by men. Day after day I had the privilege of listening to a bunch of white republican men whine about how the liberals were stealing all their money and giving it to lazy people.
In the evenings I would flip over to Faux just out of curiosity, to hear what they had to say. It never failed. The very next day, I’d get to relive the Faux broadcast, damn near word-for-word, from these snowflake Republicans.
I knew then that Faux Newz was eventually going to destroy America.
I tried to tell people…they just wouldn’t listen.
These demons should be vanquish
They would never admit it, and may even not be all that familiar with it, but they ARE running the Fox propaganda machine from the Joseph Goebbels playbook. Read history, understand how the Nazis came to power.
Exactly, they need to arrest Murdoch and his family
Okay let’s all agree to stop using the term “Fox News”. While the major networks are skirting the news/entertainment line Fox has gone over and with Wallace’s departure will never go back.
Just call it Fox. Or maybe Fox media.
Like CNN. MSNBC, and Newsmax is ANY better!
CNN. MSNBC – much better. you must be a repuglican.
The last honest journalist at Fox News has just left the building. Chris Wallace is leaving for a job with a CNN streaming service. Now, I can no longer watch the one show I always watched on Fox on Sunday morning, Wallace’s “Fox News Sunday.”
If they fired Chris Cuomo, why don’t they fire these two? Is cancel culture only for Dems?
I’m hoping that one day EVERY cable company in the world will drop Fox News from their channel lineup. When their current contract expires, don’t renew.
