Of all the things The Simpsons could have predicted, why did it have to be this?
On the episode “Bart to the Future,” Bart Simpson sees a grim vision of the year 2030-ish. Among the predictions: “smell you later” will replace “goodbye,” and Bart will be a deadbeat in a band. Also, Lisa Simpson will be president of the United States.
“As you know, we’ve inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump,” she says, and oh God, it hurts.
“Yes, I am proud to be America’s first straight female president,” she adds.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“The country is broke,” Milhouse laments, and once again it hurts, oh God, it hurts.
But maybe there’s a bright side to all this. After all, the episode predicts that Lisa will become president after Trump, so that could work out well. It does seem likely that whatever happens over the next four years will be followed by a some sort of course correction.
So who will the Lisa of 2020 be? Elizabeth Warren? Michelle Obama? Cher? Chelsea Clinton? It’s anyone’s guess. The only thing we can know for sure is that the next four years will be like 2016, only far, far worse.

The bitter Clinton supporters in California are screeching that they want to secede and protesting. I guess they can’t accept it.

Hillary is the most corrupt politician in the western world and yet the media promoted her and she got support from all big banks, corporations, celebrities and elites. ,The result was expected, the media can’t fool all the people all the time.

Prophetic. Just wait and see.

@OzJosh: As if the Simpsons are Nostradamus.

@leobaga: You have never been to Europe then nor understand the word corrupt. Hillary is far from being the most corrupt politician in the western hemisphere.

@Joshua: Who’s worse? (Not challenging you, I’m just curious who you have in mind).
