Meet Titus Low, Singapore’s most famous OnlyFans performer. At 22 years old, the bisexual model attracted devotees thanks to his affluent lifestyle and boyish looks. But his success has brought him an unexpected peril: he now faces a potential 21-month prison sentence for violating the nation’s obscenity laws.
The Los Angeles Times has published a lengthy profile on Low and his plight. In essence, his case highlights an ongoing identity crisis of sorts in Singapore. The nation has embraced Western-style values and lifestyles, while still regarding sexuality as a taboo. That holds especially true for gay men; gay sex remains illegal in Singapore. Sex work between women and men, on the other hand, is totally legal; the nation attracts scores of tourists thanks to its high-class escort industry.
Unlike several other Asian nations, Singapore has not banned social media outright. Citizens there have access to Instagram, TikTok, OnlyFans, YouTube, and more. Low had already thrived on Instagram when he joined OnlyFans in April of 2021. Because OnlyFans only releases NSFW images and videos to paying subscribers, the model thought he could avoid any legal entanglements. Just three months later, he’d amassed thousands of followers and a lucrative income from the site. The influx of cash allowed him to enjoy a lux lifestyle, which he flaunted on his social channels. That only attracted more followers.
Low’s flamboyant living also attracted the notice of Singaporean authorities. Last September, investigators began building a case against him following an anonymous tip. In November, police raided his home and confiscated all his devices. Officers warned him to stay off OnlyFans, but he defied them, posting new material later the same month. In December, police arrested him.
“I’ve done nothing wrong,” Low told the Times. “Maybe if I had hurt someone, then I’d deserve to go to prison. But this feels unjustified.”

“They told me I was going to be charged and arrested… [and] handcuffed me and put me into the lockup,” Low told the BBC. “I felt very scared and the way they treated me, it was like I had done something very bad.”
Singapore’s Penal Code holds that sending any obscene materials or receiving profits from said transmission violates the law. In broad terms, that means that two consenting adults who send one another nude photos break the statute. In Low’s case, police have said distributing adult content to subscribers is also considered an infraction.
The effects of Titus Low’s arrest have had other ramifications far beyond the man himself. The publicity generated by his case prompted other OnlyFans personalities to panic. Indexes of Singaporian performers began to circulate online, and several have reported attempts at blackmail.
Low himself has had to pivot amid his ongoing legal woes. He’s stepped back from OnlyFans to focus on other social media channels and launched his own line of adult toys modeled, of course, on his own anatomy. He’s also considering a move abroad to skirt any possible future legal challenges based on his online presence.
For the moment, however, he’ll remain in Singapore and must consider the possibility of prison and additional fines. Low told the Los Angeles Times that he hopes his newfound attention helps build his online following and also hinted that he would like to be the subject of a documentary film.
Given that the movie may or may not happen, for now, Titus Low fans will have to subsist on his SFW pictures…

Any time a British person ever mentions the merits of the government or infrastructure they left in place in their former colonies, be sure to add “stoking rampant homophobia and racism” to the list of your rebuttals.
Gordon of the Bassets
Well, yesss…that does apply to that collection of former British colonies between Canada and Mexico, too.

….is this idiot brain dead? If he didn’t get the message the first time the authorities came knocking at his door (and giving where he a citizen of) he almost deserves a bad outcome! Of course, none of the social media platforms that also profited because of his actions would ever step up and help him with legal advice and fees…. if just for being so dam stupid and not paying attention to the peril he was in!

miller2900 I could smell the hypocrisy of your comment all the way from homepage! Did gay men ever learn anything from hiv? Nope, they continue playing with the aids stick and encourage newer generations to do so. If gay sex was illegal in the US, you would be crying over the ‘injustice’ not blaming the outlaw.

You know how most kids are “It won’t happen to me, they have better things to do” or “if I get caught, I’ll get scolded and pay a small fine, or they will give me a warning because its the first time” They just can’t relate to the law and how it applies to them.

@jt
Could you clarify what you mean when you say gay men encourage younger generations to play with the “aids stick”?

He literally did nothing wrong. Only Fans has it set up so that only people over the age of 18 can use it. People who went onto this guys OF account consented to seeing NSFW content. Guess the Singapore authorities are just jealous.

What are you talking about “he literally did nothing wrong”? Did you miss the part in the article which said “Singapore’s Penal Code holds that sending any obscene materials or receiving profits from said transmission violates the law.”???

“Low’s flamboyant living also attracted the notice of Singaporean authorities.” What attracted notice was their lack of a cut from income supporting that flamboyant living. Sadly, Low’s forgetting to pay the necessary bribes is what likely got him arrested. Was his lawyers pay the necessary funds to the right people, he will be released. He should immediate move to Los Angeles.

Ding ding ding.

I’m sure he will attract lots of attention from Asian Bubba and the gang as well. At least here in America we don’t punish homosexuals, although many on the Left equate gay slurs with torture. Travelers beware, Singapore has a whole different set of laws that outsiders may never have encountered. They will fine/cane you for the slightest infractions. And then cook your cat for dinner.

You are such a thought leader for the community! Yes, we here in America are such cry babies about anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric. We should really consider accepting discrimination with a smile instead of protestation, and perhaps one day, with enough desensitization to our dehumanization, we too can be governed by sensible, god-fearing laws like in Singapore!
Polaro
Singapore has always been a totalitarian state.

What do you expect from this mooslime SHITHOLE? Really why do gay people still travel to places like this when there are prettier, friendlier places without atrocious anti human laws and where you don’t have to worry about drinking the water, eating the food and can be open with your partner. Granted this young man’s a native Singaporean, time for him to get out
scotty
I’d be happy to sponsor him in his Canadian permanent residency application. We have a few openings in our strata. And he would be welcomed and much loved.
