And officials are baffled by the reluctance. … “It’s a fully funded grant opportunity in a very interesting area of research,” [says Lorna Tessier, director of public relations for Canadian Blood Services]. I never understood why we had the ban in place at all. Quebec there are ads in pretty much all major cities asking you to give blood and yet I’m not actually allowed too. One point of shame…

@Franky: hey, yea i’m from quebec and i see the hema quebec ads everywhere!! i always wanted to give blood but when i found out i’d have to lie to do it i said fuck them.
