Since Tuesday, the satirical website FoxNews.com has been asking readers whether they think Don’t Ask Don’t Tell should be repealed. Well, you know how those poll results are going to be, right? Predictable! But: Not anymore predictable than if readers of Queerty responded to the same question. So, let’s do it! Now, in real-time, we’ll be able to compare at least one belief of FNC readers to Queerty‘s own. It’s magic-y.
let's compare

Hmm… I have a feeling it’s going to be predictably one-sided. I’d like for an actual military person to comment here and see what their take is on it. Never having been in the military (and still disappointed about that), I don’t know all the dynamics of what this decision would entail.

Ha! The average reader of Queerty seems to be a Log Cabin,
Racist Gay, Homophobe who wants to have sex with republicans like Scott Brown. So the self loathing and hypocrisy of this poll will NOT surprise me one bit.
FoxNews.com? – Queerty.com?
What’s the difference…..? LOL

Fox News should know better than to think any communication gaps in the military are a good thing:

Fox News…47 to 46 with Yes leading? I’m amazed and somebody Upstairs In Government should take note. Even the crazed loons are evenly split.
Have we won the culture war? Far from it. But this is a good sign.

Though I gotta respect those 5% on Fox News who say they don’t know, but let’s see what the research says…though anyone who’s read Unfriendly Fire or paid attention in 1993 will know what “The Research” will say…

@Mike L: It was Jacob!!!! : P (Hi Jake!)

uuuuhhhh, does anybody else realise that 46% + 47% + 5% + 1% = 109$ ?
I’m no mathematician but isn’t it supposed to add up to a hundred percent?
chris
oops, thats meant to be 109%
PADude
@chris: 46+47+5+1 = 99.
I’m assuming the missing 1% is normal rounding error and nothing to worry about in this case.

Someone said they wanted someone from the military tompost a comment. You ge your wish. I’m a vetren. Served almost 6 years in the Navy. And my experibce was that noone cared. At my last command it was an open secret. Everyone knew even the upper chain and no one cared. Of course I was in the intelligence community so that might have been the reason why the people were different. They were educated and smart. But I remember reading an unofficial poll from the stars and stripes about this issue. Over 70% of the respondents answered tha they wouldn’t have a problem servig with out homosexuals. Everyone needs to remember tha the US is the last Western industrial nation in NATO to continue a ban in some form of homosexuals serving openly. Britian did away with theirs in 2003.
