USA Network’s $1 million-per-episode deal to syndicate ABC’s same-sex kiss-free Modern Family might be the shinier of the just announced TV deals, but it’s Oxygen’s six-figure sum for Fox’s Glee that I’m more thrilled about — because the arrangement also calls for Oxygen to air Glee specials. First up? A reality series (!) where wannabe cast members compete for a spot to sing on the show. For a show that just officially wrapped its first season, well, not bad.
