On Sunday, the Olympic diver hosted the Closing Gala for the Melbourne Cabaret Festival. Matthew Mitcham not only hosted the show but also auctioned off a pair of his Funky Trunks underwear. The pair ultimately went for a $1,000, which is a pretty steep price for someone’s used skivvies. However, Mitcham sweetened the deal by including a signed copy of his autobiography.
Mitcham lived up to his hosting duties by opening the show with a stripped down version of Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” that involved him literally stripping down to his undies. Boy, this man really hates being covered up. Sadly video of the performance has not surfaced on the internet.

Worth every penny, or whatever they call them in Australia.
Mark
$1000 is cheap, but only if he’s still in them đ

@Mark: or, at least, leaves a little surprise in them for me, not a skid mark.

Did he leave his ass at home?

To quote Auntie Mame, “What could be more wholesome or natural?”

@hf2hvit: I was gonna say the same, maybe it’s the angle of the pic, but for a swimmer, I expected something perkier back there.

He’s looking good, i’d date that in a hot second. I hope he’s staying on the wagon, I know he had a hard time last year with crystal meth.

@jimstoic: We no longer have the 1¢ coin in Australia, everything is rounded to the nearest 5¢, or nickel as the yanks say, but we still use the saying in Australia.

That Last pic kinda killed it for me. Beautiful man, but little in the ass department.
