The danger sign to this type of creation is that it’s motivated by passion. We can laugh at the lameness of it, and the fact whoever created it has no skills but look a little broader. A common everyday person was motivated to make this. Yes this is pathetic…but what bothers me is that this type of crapola WILL reach and connect with weak-minded people who are prejudiced simply because their parents were and it’s “good enough for them”. This is exactly how violence grows.

@Geoff: True that its motivated by passion but its also motivated by self hatred. It is much more comfortable for the person who contains this self hatred to turn it outward, disassociate from it, and project it onto someone that reflects what they are running from on the inside. Patrick Carnes, who is probably considered the leading expert on sexual addiction and dysfunction says in the opening of one of his books that when you hear someone, like a preacher for example, screaming and demonizing something to do with sex from his pulpit you can pretty much bet on the fact that he is harboring the very same thing that he is ranting about. But one can only project so long and because hatred so often is about oneself it will eventually turn back on itself. This is why you see so many politicians, preachers, etc end up being caught doing the things they fight against. Remember, the opposite of love is not hate, loves opposite is apathy. Thats why the Bible says pray for those who do harm to you, because it is not you they hate it is themselves and by asking for their healing, which is self acceptance, they will stop projecting and start focusing on themselves and leave you alone.

I think what we, as a community, need to be concerned about is that if this kind of hate was directed at black people, or women, or disabled people, there would be out cry, there would be outrage.
I’m only 25, but I’m sick of laughing it off. I’m sick of turning the other cheek.
I know young gay men who have killed themselves because this is the world they see.
It’s not funny any more.
