There are many worthy reasons to sing Dan Reynolds’ praises.
The straight-identifying frontman of Imagine Dragons has committed to helping queer Mormons find self-acceptance in a world that’s taught them they are defective.
In 2017, he teamed up with former Morman rocker Tyler Glenn to stage the first of what has become an annual music festival in Salt Lake City. LoveLoud, which takes place on July 28, aims to raise a million dollars for organizations like the Trevor Project and the Tegan and Sara Foundation as well as Utah-based LGBTQ charities.
And the process of putting the first-ever LoveLoud festival together and Reynolds’s own interrogation of the LDS Church’s policies toward LGBTQ Mormons is the subject of HBO’s new Live Nation-produced documentary, Believer.
He also happens to be quite the babe.
In a recent Instagram post, Reynolds opened up about his health struggles, finding a moment of triumph after battling with the autoimmune disease ankylosing spondylitis.
He wrote:
just a few months of reworking my entire lifestyle/diet/exercise w/ @thor345622 and I have zero inflammation now. These before and after pictures say it all. Sorry for the corny exercise post but truly changed my life and healed years of pain. Unbelievably grateful for health.
Along with the inspirational message, he shared a swoon-worthy photo:
While many commenters congratulated Dan on his bounce back to health, others had their eye on a different sort of inspiration…
And if a picture is worth a thousand words, here are a few thousand more words:

Love this band.

I LOVE this band. And I love Dan Reynolds even more for taking on the issue of suicide among LBGTQ youth. He is physically hot but he’s even hotter for having a good soul and his wife is every bit the advocate that he is. May they be blessed for all their great work. Thank you, Dan. You rock. /|\

I have a couple of their albums, but I never knew what any of the guys looked like. …WOW

Does anyone know why, on my new iPad, so many of the pictures show basically blank screen with a small gray outline of a camera in the center?

It’s an issue with the Android app as well. Any article that has Instagram or Twitter posts in it only shows up as a grey box.

He is working really hard to be a straight ally to the LGBTQAIPF Community…….like…..really, really working hard…..in really, really tight pants.

He could be somewhat into guys to whatever extent. Who knows. But closeted male celebs who have real and substantial passion and romantic and sexual feelings towards guys rarely try this hard to be “gay friendly” and push queer causes. However, there is a fine line between be an “advocate” and doing something because you think it makes you look cool and modern and will boosts your attention and ego.

He’s my hero

Health, my ass. He knew what he was doing. 🙂

I really admire him and the work he’s doing. He’s trying to foster change in the face of adversity and that’s never easy.
