Man-made global warming is a massive fraud. The climate is controlled by factors beyond our control, such as sunspot activity.
As for this notion that carbon dioxide is a pollutant, what a joke!! Plants breathe in carbon dioxide as part of their life cycle. Without carbon dioxide, they die. If they die, we die.

Um, where did you get your degree in environmental science and physiology from?
No one is saying carbon dioxide is a pollutant. Abnormal concentrations of any gas affect the precarious balance of substances in the atmosphere. This, in turn, alters marine and atmospheric chemistry, and this can have extremely profound consequences. Increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases the propensity of the atmosphere to trap-in infrared radiation (which we perceive as heat). This is a fact. Increased heat retention causes a rise in overall temperatures. A rise in overall temperatures leads to melting of ice (which is mostly fresh water, ie. little or no salt) in the polar regions. Intrusion of fresh water into the oceans (salt water) combined with increased concentrations of carbon dioxide (from carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that combines with water in the form of acid rain, (ie. CO2 + H2O -> H2CO3 2H+ CO3- or carbonic acid) profoundly alters the chemical properties of salt water (H2O + NaCL -> H+ Cl- + Na+ OH-).
The gulf stream, responsible for beautiful balmy weather in Europe and Florida, is a ‘river’ of warm water with greater saline content in the Atlantic Ocean that is less dense and therefore floats on top of the more dense, less saline water at greater depths. Increase the fresh water intrusion into the ocean, and you fundamentally alter the chemistry of the gulf stream. Reduce the concentration of salt in the gulf stream far enough, and admittedly theoretically, there is the risk of the current shutting down all together, producing disastrous climate change in America and Europe. I’d rather not have to live through that hypothetical. None of this, by the way, even touches on the effects of rising ocean levels.
On to your second flawed opinion. We, like all other living species, exist in a constant state of flux wherein our bodies are constantly attempting to maintain ideal concentrations of ions in order to function in the most efficient way. Like most other species, we do not tolerate excessive deviations from the concentrations required to maintain life. Increases in concentration of carbon dioxide decrease the overall concentration of oxygen in the air, and if you don’t think that’s an issue, try breathing in a paper bag for a minute and see if you don’t feel a little light headed. Additionally, look up respiratory acidosis for good measure. There’s a reason we exhale carbon dioxide, our body doesn’t like it.

I’m not expecting much out of the conference. All of those world leaders have to go back to their countries, i.e. Obama has to come back to a Congress that cannot even pass a public option which the majority of Americans want.

Global warming is a fabrication. What was once a legitimate question has been jumped on by anti-American and anti-industrial lunatics. They are against business, against new technology, and for the decay of American style democracy.
Many Americans, like Obama, either do not understand this or ignore it because radical environmentalism allows government to seize power from the private sector. This fits in to the American left’s overall ideal. However the goals of the “green” movement are not clean air, clean water, and sustainability. The goal is the destruction of the modern world by doing things that are absolutely NOT sustainable, like carbon taxes…

Face it – the earth has warmed and cooled over millions of years. Ice ages, warm periods…these are all in the fossil record. There weren’t any cars spewing out pollution when the earth warmed all those years ago.
The sad truth is that scientists in the climate fraud industry have been cherry-picking data to suit their agenda. Scientists who depend on massive funds from governments will do this in order to please their funds provider. I’ve seen it happen even in non-climate science.
There is no such thing as man-made global warming of the type stated by the global warming industry.
