An internet sensation is underway, and all you need to be a part of it, is a cock.
And a sock.
Behind every sock is a serious weapon, and unlike the current #manupandmakeup campaign, the hashtag #cockinasock has been set up specifically to raise awareness and funds for testicular cancer.
In the United States, between 7,500 and 8,000 diagnoses of testicular cancer are made each year. In the UK, that figure is approximately 2,000.
It’s the most common type of cancer for guys between 20 and 39.
The Facebook page pushing the campaign, Cock in a sock, has over 78,000 likes, with tons of supportive photos, donations and messages appearing.
But of course, Facebook being Facebook, there are tons of guys being reported for “violating community standards.” The message: “Sorry if seeing a man wearing something like this on his willy offends you. Maybe you prefer to see you or your loved ones suffering with cancer? Keep donating, ignore the hating!” has been shared over 2,300 times – testament to the fact that there is a serious issue behind the naughtiness.
But that’s enough of the serious bits, here are some of the guys taking part! The Instagram account c0ck_in_a_sock is dedicated solely to the cause, with some great shots. There are groups of army lads…
And smooth twinks.
There are muscle lads.
Sexy builders…
And some very interesting positions!
All these gems are from c0ck_in_a_sock, but if you do a search on the hashtag #cockinasock, you get tons more…
I even decided to get involved myself!
To get involved, hashtag your pic with #cockinasock
If you’re in the UK you can donate £3 by texting BEAT to 70099
If you’re outside the UK, you can donate online, here.

This could be the fad of the future for males at the beach in a few years.
No homo.
Apparatus
I see the war against pubes has been won. It doesn’t look like a single one of these guys is sporting a full bush.
Larry
@Apparatus: Wars against what is natural are futile. Its the only Bush I love!! LOL
VirginiaBiker
I had testicular cancer 1981-82. This is a great idea.

Wonder what they’d do to promote prostate cancer awareness. Nice to see someone’s doing something about male cancers. Kinda flustrating when everyone goes balls to the wall over breast cancer awareness (which is more of a business than awareness) but you don’t see a damn thing about testicular, prostate or even male breast cancer. It’s like feminists control the cancer industry.

@Rob: For prostate cancer there is Movember (No shave November)

I commented about this on the half-drag selfies article and it was held up for review by Queerty for whatever reason and now, lo, Queerty has posted about it.
stranded
@jake_h_ needs to grow his bush back, then go do porn.
Rob
@jpking8814: Oh. I vaguely remember something about that, but never saw an explanation about what it was.
Louis
The last one should do porn …wow.
Horse Lips
This is a trend I could get behind.

None of the links to the facebook and instagram accounts work. Maybe they are typed in incorrectly?

One of Queerty’s best posts. And a good cause.

It appears many think the size of the sock is important.
My cousin ended up with testicular cancer in his 20s. He is now a one nut wonder, but the doc said we need to check out nuts out regularly. It so hard to do.
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
Sock it to me! :p
Sweet Boy
I´ll do it with a fishnet stocking

Something I learned in grade school, its kinda stupid…so here it goes.
Days were old nights were bold rubbers weren’t invented, that tied a sock around their clocks and babies were prevented.
