Is Michele Bachmann Having A Hard Time Finding 50,000 Marriage Discriminators?

Yes, you may have noticed some ads around here touting Michele Bachmann’s pledge to support traditional marriage. They should be gone (or nearly gone) by now, though they’re still all over the web. That Bachmann is still running the campaign, though, suggests she’s fallen short of her original goal to collect 50,000 marriage discrimination supporters in 48 hours — a project she launched a week ago today after Obama’s DOMA decision. Of course, all these stupid gimmicks are just fundraising tricks; she wants each supporter to also “consider making a generous donation of $25, $50, $100, $250 or more” so she can spread her petition to “repeal Barack Obama in 2012.” How much does it cost to send a web petition? $0.00000000000000000000000000000000000219?
