New Birth Missionary Baptist Church isn’t just a place for Pastor Eddie Long to promise he’ll fight allegations from four (and counting?) men claiming he abused his spiritual power to sexually molest them. It’s also where Long introduces new dance crazes that will soon be sweeping the nation.
“Cross It Up,” uploaded in February 2009, is both song and a chance to “mess with the devil a little bit.” It includes these deliciously poignant lyrics: “Where my young people at? Where my young people at? Where my little sporty? Where my little shorties? Where they at? Where they at?”
And: “It ain’t fair. It ain’t fair.”
