Jamaican Police Pretend To Solve A Gay Rape Case

Speaking of shady looking characters who appear on security cameras, the fella you see here is “may have information” about the July 18 rape of a 21-year-old man, who reported to Jamaican police he had been attacked at one of Kingston’s only gay clubs Escape, which has since closed. (Indeed, police are only now releasing information about the attack, but they don’t have such a great track record with gay clubs.) So the cops have released this photo of the unidentified man in the hopes you’ll help conclude he is not Joran van der Sloot. (J/K!) And remember that when police say somebody “may have information,” often times they are really saying “is the lead suspect.”
