If there’s any lingering doubt that James Franco and Seth Rogan will be recorded in future history books as the most queer-friendly cock teases in the annals of cinema, let them be erased now and forever. On the heels of their homoerotic comedy This is the End and their romantic Kimye spoof and Franco’s nude paintings of Rogen, the duo crank up the friendly queer-baiting once again with their upcoming movie The Interview. In one scene from the comedy about two tabloid journalists on a mission to assassinate Kim Jong-un, Franco can’t remember who he hooked up with the night before but finds the aroma on his penis so intoxicating that he can’t stop sniffing it. In another, Rogen is forced to hide a weapon of mass destruction up his butt. Hilarity, no doubt, ensues.
Yet, there are those who will see the humor in this volatile comedy, namely the North Korean government, which has issued a warming that if the film is released as scheduled on Christmas day, it will result in a “resolute and merciless response” from the country. Some people are so touchy.

A bit of history. Starting on February 13, 1945 thru February 15, 1945, RAF and USAF bombers hit the East German city of Dresden with hundreds of tons of encindery bombs. It is said that this bombing raid, deep into German territory, was the turning point for the Allies as they had successfully penetrated into German air space. This continual two day raid killed more than 200 thousands of civilians, most being burned to death in the various air raid shelters all over the city. Since Dresden is on the rail line from Berlin to Prague, many who had fore warning of the raid were able to escape the city for the country. For a true story of an American woman, Anne Wahle, stuck in East Germany during WWII, escaped due to listening to a forbidden wireless radio broadcast from London, read “Ordeal By Fire: The true story of the Fire Bombing of Dresden, as told to Ken Turkel, in the March 1965 issue of Holiday Magazine. It’s quite a story!
